Dweller 1.24.0 beta
Now that the user interface work seems to have sorted itself out I can finally focus on new stuff. I'll do a release this weekend unless anything critical is found. I have released a new beta tonight with a change to stone blocks, tables and other pieces of pushable terrain. You should now be able to push them onto any kind of passable terrain without weird results (no skipping terrain and that sort of nonsense). This does mean that the save format for maps have changes slightly and I had to increase minor version from 1.23.x to 1.24.0 to reflect this change. If you do try this beta please take extra care to test pushable terrain and also keep an eye out for terrain interaction that has stopped working (open, close, disarm etc).
Betas are as always available at: files.dwellergame.com/beta
Enjoy!

Crashed my phone :( Maybe the next update will work out for me!
ReplyDeleteKyle, could you please provide some more detail? What phone was it, when and how often did it crash? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm running on a LG Xpression LGC395. Only recently did I restore it and update it. It did not work before I did this nor after I wiped it clean :/ thanks!
ReplyDeleteWork nice on my phone w910i (240x320), and game work smothly, without ''cuting''. I encounter small bug when pushing blocks. For example - when push blocks, items stay on block (when push block on item) and bcs of that cant collect that item
ReplyDeleteworking now! many thanks! love it!
ReplyDelete@Nemanja: The new 1.24.1 beta solves the issues with items and pushable stones.
ReplyDelete@Kyle: Great!
Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteHow to save?
Hi! The intro and death pics are awesome! Hope to see more in the coming updates.
ReplyDeleteBUT the beta has a couple of interface issues on my Samsung Star phone. The messages on the top right seldom appears and when it does it seemed cropped and disappears quickly, and when the list of items in the inventory exceeds the screen length the info box at the bottom (where the no. of items or gold appears) disappears.
@킹해: The game auto-saves. But there's no "reload when I'm dead". When you die there's nothing left to do but start a new game.
ReplyDelete@PsJhun: Beta 1.24.5 (released today) solves the long inventory list. I still need to fix the messagelog.
@Björn Ritzl, tnx for the reply. I just downloaded the 1.24.6 but I can't install it in my phone (Samsung Star).
ReplyDeleteWhat happens when you try yo install it? Does it install but crash when you run it? What message do you get?
ReplyDeleteIt says "Java Error. Invalid Format" when I open it.
DeleteBjörn Ritzl, hehe, I finally made it to run on my phone. Unlike previous versions, I just had to delete the old version before installing this. hehe.
DeleteVersion 1.24.7 is not run at nokia 5800
ReplyDeleteI finished game with Knight and with Ranger :) next is Wizard. Latest beta work perfect on my SE phone. Anyway its possible to add more variable for quests? For example instead of countinued same quest, put some different. After you kill 10 rats for example, next can be 10 trolls or to find some item and etc. Or put more NPC's in dungeons for quests like warrior in prison. Or better is for random quests of NPC's after each new game :) and one thing more, after finishing game (after ending scene if u put it, 24.2 ver. dont have) give us oportunity to continue game and keep exploring. Or just make randome quests bcs in that way we will always wanted to play this awesome game again and again! I'm sorry for long msg, i will be thankfull if you read it :)
ReplyDeleteNemanja: I'd like to add more quests to the game. I'll try to get some more quests added in future versions of the game.
