Dweller 1.17.2 - bugfix release

It was to be expected with such radical changes to map rendering ... Bugs. Many bugs. All of them solved now. Sorry for the inconvenience.


  1. I don't see any visual changes from 1.17.1 on my device (Nokia 5800, j2me).

  2. There's no real visual changes from 1.17.0 to 1.17.2. The fixes are mostly related to screen redraws and pathfinding.

  3. The new version is really weird for me.
    I couldn't attack with my wizard, because on pushing 0, it didn't change from inspect/move... (I hope, this isn't the part of the nerfing you mentioned. :) )
    After I descended into the dungeon, the part, where I should see black squares (unexplored area), I saw grass and such from the last level (like it would burn in the sreen).

    I think, I have to update my phone from symbian to android. :)

  4. I'm having the same problem as Thot.
    Also the first level is basically one big square filled bookshelves and chairs everywhere. I'm using symbian too, Nokia C1-01.

    About the distribution; Getjar doesn't support download through a PC, which makes it difficult for users with no mobile internet to get Dweller, most people these days got it but still it might be useful to have direct download link.

  5. Thot and Zeta: Equipment cycling while in targeting mode has been fixed in 1.17.3. The corrupt graphics in unexplored areas has also been solved.

    Zeta: You were getting a debug level from 1.17.0. If you start a new game things should be back to normal.
